Cathy Rowe is the Product Manager for Wolters Kluwer Accounting and Audit Solutions. Cathy has been with Wolters Kluwer since 2006. During her time at Wolters Kluwer, Cathy spent almost 10 years on the CCH® ProSystem fx® Engagement and CCH® ProSystem fx® Knowledge Coach Design Team, helping to design hundreds of new features to assist accounting firms get the most out of their audit workflow tools. She has been involved in two major Contextual Design projects, during which she interviewed dozens of auditors and observed their workflow with the aim of developing new solutions. This experience gives Cathy a unique understanding of the needs and best practices for firms of all sizes in her current role as the Product Manager for Accounting and Audit Solution. Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer in February 2006, Cathy spent several years in public accounting. During that time, she worked with both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young, as well as a smaller local firm. In 2013, she was named as one of the Top 40 Under 40 thought leaders in the accounting industry by CPA Practice Advisor due to the fact that she made significant progress in bringing the customer workflow perspective into the Design and Development processes at Wolters Kluwer.

Gail Perry is the editor-in-chief of CPA Practice Advisor. She also speaks at many accounting events, trade shows, and webinars. Gail is the author of over 30 books (including Mint.com For Dummies and QuickBooks 2014 On Demand), and she maintains a small tax practice. Gail is a graduate of Indiana University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She returned to school to study accounting at Illinois State University, earned her CPA, and worked for Deloitte in the Chicago tax department. She has taught college-level accounting principles and was on staff for 10 years at the Indiana CPA Society as a computer applications instructor. Gail was the publisher and editor-in-chief of AccountingWEB before joining the CPA Practice Advisor team.
