Brett Stone is a Customer Experience Manager with Wolters Kluwer, Tax & Accounting North America, US Medium and Large Firm. Brett’s primary responsibility entails working with CCH® ProSystem fx® Knowledge Coach clients to ensure successful new-client onboarding, initial implementation, and first-year use of the software. He also maintains the private Knowledge Coach Community website, providing both new and existing clients with a forum to ask questions, collaborate with fellow users, receive current product updates, and more.

After joining Wolters Kluwer in 2012 and prior to taking on his current role, Brett worked as a Software Consultant/Trainer in the Professional and Client Services department where he assisted clients with learning and maximize their efficiency using CCH® ProSystem fx® Engagement, Knowledge Coach, and Document, as well as CCH Axcess™ Document, Portal, and Workstream.

Brett is a CPA and worked in public accounting for approximately six years in small and medium size firms performing tax and audit engagements for a diverse group of clients before transitioning to academia. He earned a Ph.D. from the University at Albany, State University for New York and has over twenty years of experience teaching Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Gail Perry is the editor-in-chief of CPA Practice Advisor. She also speaks at many accounting events, trade shows, and webinars. Gail is the author of over 30 books (including Mint.com For Dummies and QuickBooks 2014 On Demand), and she maintains a small tax practice. Gail is a graduate of Indiana University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She returned to school to study accounting at Illinois State University, earned her CPA, and worked for Deloitte in the Chicago tax department. She has taught college-level accounting principles and was on staff for 10 years at the Indiana CPA Society as a computer applications instructor. Gail was the publisher and editor-in-chief of AccountingWEB before joining the CPA Practice Advisor team.
